Maldon's BIG Sing

The residents of Maldon are being put to the test to see if they really can sing! The challenge has been set by Gemma Rattenbury who was born and raised in Maldon and is now a professional singer. The Maldon community choir is open to everyone - young and old! No auditions and no experience needed - just bring your enthusiasm! Singing funky, modern pop, gospel and contemporary songs that will leave you feeling uplifted!

The Birth of the Bagpipe

A talk, illustrated with screen shots and live music to celebrate International Bagpipe Day. The development, history, art, customs and music of various bagpipe. Proceeds towards the Bells of St. Giles Church, Langford where £24000 is needed to renew the supports

"A BIT OF A DO "

Each year St. Andrew's Church and St. Clares Hospice have "a bit of a do" together. There will be every craft known to man (or woman) from the St. Clare's Craft Circle, plus raffle, tombola, books, bric-a-brac, Mothering Sunday gifts and cards. All day refreshments include tea, coffee, cakes, soup and rolls - all home made. Come along and join us, help with the church repair funds and also the good work done at the day hospice.
