Your guide to the district of Maldon and its history Walks and Rambles

There are miles and miles of sea walls, countryside paths and heritage trails to explore in the Maldon district.

Details of many such walks can be obtained from the Maldon Tourist Information Office at Wenlock Way (off the High Street) Maldon.

ORGANISED WALKS AND RAMBLES
 

Fitsteps offer volunteer led, circular town and country walks between 1 and 3 miles, 3 times a week in Maldon, South Chelmsford and Dengie areas. All venues are readily accessible, with free parking and refreshments facilities available. Most walks start at 10am with some evening walks also available during summer. The walks are FREE and suitable for all levels of fitness and especially for those with less active life styles.
